How to Play
Before pressing to start the game, select your play mode: Competitive (timed) or Casual. Let's use Puzzle #1 with starting word "BROWSE" as our example.
The goal of the game is to use up all the clues, but the clues are presented out of order. Your job is to find the clue that gives logical instructions to transform the current word into another word (all words use American English spelling). In Puzzle #1, the first clue that works is this one:
Deleting the part of the current word meaning "Above the eyes" (BROW) results in an ordinal direction (SE), with SE being the abbreviation for "Southeast".
Type "SE" into the textbox and watch the word at the top transform. Now, you are looking for a clue with which to transform "SE" into the next word.
Use up all the clues to win the game!

Hey, this is Lukas, the developer of Wordsmyth.
If you're here, you're probably one of the people who makes these daily puzzles part of your routine, and I really appreciate that.
If everyone who plays commits to a tiny membership of $2/month, I will be able to live my dream of being a full-time game developer. It would give me the time and freedom to make Fox Point Games' current roster of games even better, and invent awesome new games.
By the way, $2/month is only $0.0016 per puzzle, per day...
There's truly no obligation at all. I'm committed to keeping my games free and not bogged down with ads. But if you get value out of coming back each day and want to support an indie developer, it genuinely makes a difference.
